The Sharecropper’s Dream

Born and bred in Atlanta, by way of Minneapolis, I was raised by a registered nurse and a former assistant to a lawyer; planning and brainstorming have long been passions of mine. My life began in the womb of a woman who desperately wanted to get her mother out of war-torn Liberia. This woman was a nurse, and her mother was a sharecropper who could not speak English, but knew how to count money thanks to her time as a street merchant. Through me, the sharecropper’s dream lives. Welcome to The Mustard Seed.
